Samsung (2009)
Samsung challenged Sapient to come up with a concept for a microsite that would generate buzz in social media around their presence at the IFA 2009 in Berlin.
We appealed to the tech-fanatics and casual consumer alike by leveraging Augmented Reality (AR) in a smart and functional way.
A microsite where visitors could experience the AR at home, as well as real-time updates from the event, and enter a sweepstakes where they could post user-generated content to win Samsung merchandise.
The microsite was applauded in an article by Advertising Age criticizing the gratuitous use of Augmented Reality.
